Mr. & Miss SMU 2026 is a prestigious student leadership and empowerment platform at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. More than a pageant, it is a transformative journey that celebrates purpose, intellect, confidence, and service.

Our initiative was created to identify and develop well-rounded student ambassadors who represent the true spirit of SMU — excellence, integrity, compassion, and leadership. Participants are challenged to grow beyond appearance, focusing on academic achievement, community engagement, social impact, and personal development.

Throughout the programme, contestants undergo mentorship, leadership training, value-based campaigns, and community outreach initiatives designed to shape them into responsible, influential leaders.

Our crowned Mr. & Miss SMU 2026 will serve as official ambassadors of the university, representing SMU at institutional events, student initiatives, and external engagements throughout their reign.
