Club and Society / Structure of the Year The award recognises a structure that has significantly contributed to holistic student development.
Nominees must:
• Establish consistent activity throughout the academic year (minimum of three developmental programmes/events).
• Show measurable impact on student development, not limited to (academic, social, cultural, professional or leadership growth).
• Promote inclusivity, diversity, and transformation within membership and activities.
• Submit a comprehensive annual report with evidence (attendance registers, photos, programmes, feedback).
MOST OUTSTANDING STUDENT LEADER IN A COUNCIL
Nominees must:
• Show exceptional commitment to council responsibilities.
• Actively promote social responsibility or community development.
• Show measurable contribution to improving school governance.
• Display accountability, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Maintain good academic achievement.
SCHOOL COUNCIL CHAIRPERSON OF THE YEAR
(Awarded to the Chairperson as recommended by the SRC.)
Nominees must:
• Prove of visionary and ethical leadership within the school.
• Initiate and implement programmes that support academic success and student
wellbeing.
• Show measurable impact on student engagement and participation.
• Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Submit a detailed report outlining achievements and impact.
SRC MEMBER OF THE YEAR (BY SRC MEMBERS)
Nominees must:
• Demonstrate outstanding contribution to SRC programmes and
institutional initiatives.
• Promote gender equality, racial transformation, and social cohesion.
• Maintain consistent attendance and active participation in SRC meetings.
• Promote a respectful, supportive, and student-centred work environment.
• Have no pending disciplinary cases and not be subject to any disciplinary hearing.
