About the Student Support Referral Unit
The Student Support Referral Unit assists students with referrals to access the following Service Providers:
- Social Worker Unit
- Student Counselling and Development Unit
- Clinical Psychologist Unit
- Centre of University Teaching and Learning
- Campus Health
- Financial Aid
These services form part of the Student Support Referral System and are offered free of charge to all registered students who are in need of assistance because of low academic performance and or personal challenges.
Services Rendered
- Basic Life Coaching.
- Guide students through reflection for problem identification.
- Referral to correct Service Providers for assistance with identified challenges.
These services are available to all students who are experiencing decline in academic performance or any pressing personal matter for which they would like to see support. The process is handled with respect, sensitivity and confidentiality.
