SMU SPRING GRADUATION CEREMONY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2024

The 2024 spring graduation ceremony to confer Degrees and award Diplomas and Higher Certificates to graduands and diplomandi who have met the requirements for completion of their respective qualifications will take place on the date:

  • Friday, 20 September 2024

Graduands and Diplomandi will be able to check their graduation status on the University using this link: Self Help iEnabler (smu.ac.za).

There will be live streaming of the ceremony and proceedings can be followed by using the following link;

SMU AUTUMN GRADUATION CEREMONIES, 22 – 24 May 2024

The 2024 graduation ceremonies to confer Degrees and award Diplomas and Higher Certificates to graduands and diplomandi who have met the requirements for completion of their respective qualifications will take place on the dates indicated below:

  • Wednesday, 22 May 2024: School of Dentistry and School of Health Care Sciences

  • Thursday, 23 May 2024: School of Medicine

  • Friday, 24 May 2024: School of Pharmacy and School of Science and Technology 

Graduands and Diplomandi will be able to check their graduation status on the University website from Monday, 29 April 2024. You will also be informed about details of your specific ceremony in a separate letter that will be emailed to you.
