SMU mourns the passing of Dr George Koboka following his tragic murder

The Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University expresses its dismay and sadness on the recent killing of its Alumni Dr George Koboka at his surgery. The University sends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues as well as the community of Soweto whom Dr Koboka continued to serve even at the time of his death.

The University appeals to law enforcement agencies to ensure that those responsible for his murder face the full might of the law.
