Dear SMU Community,
Many organizations and institutions of higher learning make use of marketing and advertising tools for brand awareness, brand building and to broadcast services to as many people as possible.
We are pleased to announce the introduction of the refreshed SMU billboard and Mall Adverts that are memorable, eye-catching and effective in and around the City of Tshwane (flights are up on N1 Highway towards Midrand, Atterbury road towards Menlyn and Es’kia Mphahlele towards Marabastad) which are sure to get you and the public’s attention (see the link below).
Outdoor advertising is part of the university’s marketing strategy and it has been effective for promoting SMU brand. The university use outdoor advertising campaigns to increase brand recognition and educate prospective students and all other relevant stakeholders about our academic offerings. Seeing SMU across multiple platforms not only creates awareness of the university, but conveys credibility. Billboard and mall advertising give SMU the opportunity to speak to the same group of people on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Watch out for the refreshed SMU adverts on our South African roads and shopping malls. Let us work together towards growing the SMU brand.
