Research program of the Department

The Department of Public Health is one of the most research active departments at SMU and the research program is determined by the individual independent research niche areas of the individual academic staff, as well as the rich diversity of the students. The research niche area has enabled the Department to attract research grants from outside of the University. These research areas are also maximally utilised for student training and support.
